
Ori Jacobson is a Berlin-based saxophonist and composer, and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Berklee College of Music, where he completed both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Global Jazz Institute under the direction of Danilo Pérez. Awarded full-tuition scholarships for both degrees in recognition of his outstanding saxophone and jazz performance, he studied closely with some of the leading voices in contemporary jazz, including Joe Lovano, George Garzone, and David Liebman.
Ori has performed alongside Grammy Award-winning artists such as Esperanza Spalding, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Susana Baca, and has appeared on renowned stages including North Sea Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Beacon Theatre, and Smalls Jazz Club.
Currently, he leads the Ori Jacobson Quartet and performs with projects including the Doug Weiss Quartet, Luis Bonilla Quintet, and Àbáse, among others.
